Senior Electrical Estimator

COLLINS ELECTRICAL COMPANY, INC. is a nationally recognized electrical contractor with offices in Stockton, Sacramento, Marina, Modesto and Fresno, California.  Our projects are commercial, institutional and light industrial and range from $1M to $30M. 

We are currently accepting resumes for Senior Electrical Estimators for our Stockton offices.

We are seeking individuals who project a professional image, have a positive attitude and are leaders and self starters with a strong work ethic and the ability to perform all levels and types of ELECTRICAL ESTIMATING including commercial, industrial, and institutional.  The Sr. Estimator position requires a minimum of 7 years experience in the electrical industry.  Design-build experience is highly desirable.

Applicants must possess superior skills in computer estimating and spreadsheet programs and a proven background with RFIs, cost estimates, hard bids, negotiating, material take-offs and reading blue prints.  Primary functions of this position will be to perform take-offs, formulation of proposals and final bidding of all types of construction including but not limited to hospitals, water treatment facilities, schools and commercial buildings.  Applicants must also have the ability to layout branch circuiting; to read and understand contract documents, drawings and specifications; have an understanding of general electrical design and engineering concepts and have an overall general knowledge of electrical material costs.
