Employee Leadership Testimonials: Rick Henry

Rick Henry 2
Rick Henry, Dublin Branch Manager

Leadership training has been an inspiration for me personally as well as professionally. It’s been a big boost for morale and team building within our branch. We all get along very well, the interaction in Amanda’s two hour session make it fun and enables us to poke fun at one another. Amanda’s two hour session over the lunch hour make it super easy to fit this into our busy days.

We are fresh from our recent session in which we went over Emotional Intelligence and how each of us deal with stress. It’s very interesting to go around the room and listen how each member of the team deals with stress. Stress can cause many physical ailments and listening to how others deal with it, and Amanda’s feedback, gives us all multiple ways to aid us in dealing with stress. Stress is a big part of our everyday life in the construction industry, in order to have longevity within this industry we all must find a way to deal with stress.

Leadership Training is a lot more than teaching us to become better leaders, it’s teaching us to become better people, better communicators, listeners and better life managers.

I applaud the Executive Team for their forward thinking in hiring Amanda and thank Amanda for being such a great inspiration to all of us!”

-Rick Henry, Dublin Branch Manager
