Fresno State Library
Collins recently completed a major addition to the CSU Fresno (Fresno State) library. Working closely with general contractor Swinerton Builders, the project was to complete a 5 story, 300,000+sq ft building that has over 5,500 state of the art architectural interior and exterior lighting fixtures with automatic programmable control. Other unique project highlights include the new building is home to over 1,000,000 volumes of literature, 18,480 lineal feet of compact mobile shelving, and a full blown Starbucks. The largest library in the California State University system and the largest library in California, between San Francisco and Los Angeles The Fresno State campus has truly benefited from this project in a many ways….culturally, aesthetically and academically.
